Achievements: Secured 3rd Prize at the District Science Exhibition for presenting an innovative solution to reduce air pollution caused by chimneys. The project received appreciation for its practical applicability and creative approach.
Project Details: Designed a working model that uses charcoal filters placed on top of chimneys to reduce harmful gas emissions. The concept utilizes basic chemistry—by increasing the surface area using charcoal, it effectively absorbs toxic gases like carbon monoxide and sulphur dioxide. The model was praised for its simplicity, cost-effectiveness, and potential real-world impact.
